Whether a student needs immediate vocal assistance for performances, role preparations, auditions, and applications, or desires a stronger vocal technique for long-term performance goals, Michael's skilled teaching provides the tools and complete spectrum of instruction for students to grow exponentially starting from the first lesson. By improving technical abilities such as vocal range, flexibility, and stamina, students will develop their own personal style along with a solid foundation that allows them to sing freely with more comfort and confidence. Singers of all styles as well as dancers, actors, and public speakers are welcome!
In addition to over 20 years of performing professionally as both an opera and musical theatre performer, Michael has earned a Doctorate of Music from Temple University, a Master of Music from Yale University, a Bachelor of Music from Hunter College, and a Certificate of Performance from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He shares his extensive knowledge of song repertoire from many genres, diction in several languages, as well as stage skills and etiquette in professionalism. He is also a guest lecturer presenting vocal workshops for schools, performing arts organizations, and vocal ensembles.
